About the Role:
As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for the leadership and day-to-day management of the facility, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care aligned with Aged Care Standards. Supported by a Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse, youll play a key role in driving clinical excellence and operational performance.
This role reports to the Group Director of Nursing and Midwifery and works closely with leadership teams to implement strategic objectives across the Hospital and Health Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and clinical leadership to ensure high standards of care
- Oversee staffing, budget, and resource management
- Maintain compliance with all legislative and professional standards
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to improve health outcomes
- Support continuous professional development of nursing staff
About You:
- AHPRA registered Nurse with advanced clinical and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage aged care services in complex, rural settings
- Strong understanding of clinical governance and aged care regulations
- Autonomous, ethical, and values-driven in your approach
- Committed to excellence in patient care and team development
