LOCATION
Located in the historic Goldfields region, Kalgoorlie-Boulder is one of Western Australias most iconic regional towns. Known for its rich gold mining history, vibrant community and unique outback landscape, Kalgoorlie offers a vibrant mix of adventure and culture.
This role is based at Kalgoorlie Health Campus, the largest hospital in the Goldfields region and a major referral centre for surrounding communities. The facility provides a broad range of services including emergency care, inpatient services and specialist clinics, supporting both the local population and remote communities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide high quality emergency nursing care within a busy ED
Perform triage assessments and prioritise patient care
Utilise Emergency Triage Scale (ETS) where required
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary ED team
Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Current AHPRA registration as an RN
ED experience
Triage competency or experience using ETS
Current ALS and/or PALS certification
Ability to work autonomously in a regional setting
Full compliance for WA health contracts
BENEFITS
Salary $60$72 per hour base AM rate + penalties + OT + super (depending on experience)
