We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused General Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to join our friendly and dynamic team.

Role Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Provide direct, individualised bedside nursing care to pre- and post-surgery patients
- Evaluate medical information and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Prepare, administer and accurately document prescribed medications
- Monitor vital signs and promptly report adverse reactions to medications
- Work with the healthcare team on effective discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files, charts and electronic health records
- Adhere to best practice standards, nursing protocols and hospital policies
Essential Criteria
- AHPRA Registered Nurse
- 1 - 2 years experience in General Medical/Surgical nursing
- Strong communication and patient-education skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
