Role Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide direct, individualized bedside nursing care to pre- and post-surgery patients.
- Evaluate medical information and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Prepare, administer, and accurately document prescribed medications.
- Monitor vital signs and promptly report adverse reactions to medications.
- Work with the healthcare team on effective discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files, charts, and electronic health records.
Essential Criteria
- AHPRA Registered Nurse .
- 12 years experience in General Medical/Surgical nursing.
- Strong communication and patient-education skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
