Verus People is currently recruiting experienced Perioperative Registered Nurses for a modern private hospital located in a thriving regional community. Our client is seeking dedicated professionals to join their team and provide high-quality care throughout the surgical journey.
In this role, your responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients and operating theatres for surgical procedures
- Supporting surgeons and anesthetists during operations
- Monitoring and maintaining patient safety and well-being at all times
- Utilising post-graduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing (highly desirable)
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Proven clinical experience in a perioperative setting
- Current AHPRA registration
- A valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Up-to-date immunisations as per health requirements
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations
