This well-established private hospital, known for delivering excellence in surgical care, is expanding its perioperative team. We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse Scrub Scouts to contribute to this high-performing and supportive operating theatre environment.
As a key member of the perioperative nursing team, you will provide specialized nursing care across a range of surgical disciplines. Your expertise will ensure the safe and effective preparation, assistance, and post-operative care of patients undergoing procedures in our state-of-the-art theatres.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality scrub/scout nursing support across a variety of surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical and organisational protocols
- Support and mentor junior staff as needed
- Participate in continuing professional development to maintain and expand clinical competencies
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 3 years' recent perioperative experience, preferably in an Australian healthcare setting
- AHPRA Registered Nurse current and unrestricted
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree
- Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing(completed or working towards)
