An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dedicated Registered Nurse with a background in anaesthetics to join a leading private surgical facility in Brisbane. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining high standards of patient safety throughout the perioperative journey. You will be part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team, providing vital support across a wide range of complex surgical cases including spinal, plastics, and general surgery. The position offers a stable full-time roster with shifts generally falling between Monday and Friday, though a degree of flexibility for occasional on-call or weekend requirements is essential to meet the needs of the service.
In this role, your clinical expertise will be utilised to manage theatre equipment, complete precise documentation, and ensure the seamless flow of anaesthetic care. We are looking for a professional who can troubleshoot effectively and contribute to the overall efficiency of the theatre suite while maintaining a compassionate and friendly demeanour with patients. The facility is known for its supportive culture and commitment to the professional growth of its nursing staff, making it an excellent environment for an RN looking to further their career in a specialised acute setting.
To be considered for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Nursing and be currently registered with AHPRA. A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience within an anaesthetics department is required, along with up-to-date first aid and CPR certifications. Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work well within a team are vital for success in this high-standard clinical environment.
