Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to critically ill or high-dependency patients requiring advanced clinical support.
- Monitor, assess, and manage complex physiological data, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to implement patient care plans.
- Manage advanced critical care equipment, including ventilators, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and invasive monitoring lines.
- Provide compassionate support, reassurance, and clear communication to patients and their families during high-stress situations.
Key Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 1224 months of recent experience working within an acute hospital ICU or Critical Care environment.
- A postgraduate qualification in Critical Care / Intensive Care Nursing is highly regarded (or current study toward one).
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
