We are seeking a passionate and skilled Remote Area Nurse to join an Aboriginal Medical Service in South Australia. This is a rare opportunity to work in a highly rewarding setting, making a genuine difference in the lives of a remote community while gaining valuable experience in remote area nursing.
About the Role
You will be part of a small, dedicated team delivering high-quality primary and emergency healthcare to a community with a population of 450 people. The health clinic operates as a 3-nurse post, and you will be working regular clinic hours and participating in the on-call roster.
Key Criteria:
- Emergency Department experience: Minimum 4+ years
- ALS certification.
- Ability to provide culturally safe and sensitive healthcare.
- Excellent clinical assessment, problem-solving and communication.
- Strong interest in developing a career in remote nursing.
- Ability to work autonomously in an isolated setting with limited resources.
