About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for qualified and committed Registered Midwives (Level 1) to join a leading public health service in Canberra, providing exceptional maternity care across a variety of clinical settings.
This role offers the chance to work within supportive, multidisciplinary teams in modern maternity units, with a strong focus on professional development, clinical excellence, and person-centred care. Multiple positions are available across several departments, including:
- Antenatal Care
- Postnatal Care
- Birthing Services
- Continuity of Midwifery Care Programs
- Maternity and Gynaecology Outpatient Services
Successful applicants will be part of a progressive health service delivering care to a diverse population and will be supported by experienced Clinical Midwifery Managers, Clinical Development Midwives, and Clinical Support Midwives.

About You
To be considered, you will need to demonstrate:
- Current registration as a Midwife with (AHPRA)
- Proven commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, woman-centred care
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team
- A willingness to work across a variety of clinical areas
- Capacity to comply with relevant pre-employment checks, including:
- National Police Check
- Working with Vulnerable People registration
- Compliance with occupational assessment and vaccination requirements
