Your Advanced Impact
Expert Cardiac Surveillance: Perform advanced, rapid interpretation of complex cardiac rhythms, 12-lead ECGs, and invasive hemodynamic data to guide immediate clinical interventions.
Post-Interventional Care: Manage high-quality recovery protocols for patients post-cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent insertion, and pacemaker implantation.
Clinical Mentorship: Act as an advanced clinical resource on the floor, providing guidance to junior staff, leading shifts, and assisting with cardiac education programs.
Emergency Response: Lead and coordinate rapid-response and resuscitation protocols for acute cardiac emergencies within the unit.
The Specialized Profile
Academic Credentials: A completed Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma, or Masters degree in Cardiac, Coronary Care, or Critical Care Nursing.
Professional Standing: Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Cardiac Track Record: Minimum 23 years of recent, dedicated experience within an acute hospital CCU, Cardiac Cath Lab, or specialized Cardiac Ward.
Advanced Capabilities: Proven competence in Advanced Life Support (ALS), temporary pacing management, and sheaths/arterial line management.
