Your Clinical Focus

Intraoperative Support: Deliver expert scrub and scout nursing care across a broad range of elective and emergency surgical cases.

Theatre Coordination: Anticipate the precise needs of the surgical and anaesthetic teams, ensuring all required instrumentation, equipment, and consumables are meticulously prepared.

Aseptic Standards: Maintain rigid compliance with infection control protocols, sterile field management, and national safety guidelines.

Patient Advocacy: Ensure the highest level of patient safety, comfort, and precise count protocols throughout the entire perioperative journey.


The Background Checklist

AHPRA Registration: Current, unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

Theatre Competency: Minimum 1224 months of recent experience working as a Scrub Scout in an acute hospital operating suite.

Adaptable Approach: Proven competence across multiple surgical specialties, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.

Regional Team Mindset: A positive, collaborative professional who communicates with clarity and treats colleagues and patients with absolute respect.
