The Part-Time Focus
🗲 Airway Assistance: Provide expert clinical support to the Anaesthetist during the critical induction, maintenance, and reversal phases of anesthesia.
🗲 Theatre Preparation: Conduct thorough pre-operative patient assessments and ensure all specialized anaesthetic equipment, drug lines, and monitoring systems are prepared.
🗲 Patient Comfort: Serve as a reassuring, compassionate presence for patients during the vulnerable pre-operative phase.
🗲 Vigilant Monitoring: Actively monitor physiological data and anticipate the needs of the anaesthetic team to ensure absolute patient safety.
Candidate Checklist
🗲 AHPRA Standing: Current, unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
🗲 Specialty Experience: Minimum 1224 months of recent experience working as an Anaesthetic RN within an acute hospital theatre setting.
🗲 Technical Skills: Strong familiarity with modern anaesthetic machines, airway management protocols, and dynamic monitoring tech.
