This comprehensive oncology service delivers world-class, patient-centered care across medical oncology, haematology, and palliative care treatments. In this permanent role, you will be part of a highly integrated, multidisciplinary team including medical oncologists, clinical trial coordinators, and specialized allied health staff. You will provide end-to-end clinical supportfrom administering advanced chemotherapy and targeted biological therapies to delivering crucial emotional and symptom-management care.

Where You'll Make an Impact
Complex Treatment Administration: Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and blood products in strict accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
Holistic Patient Assessment: Conduct meticulous physical and psychological assessments, proactively managing treatment side effects, acute toxicities, and oncology emergencies.
CVAD & Vascular Access: Expertly manage central venous access devices (such as PICC lines, Hickman lines, and Port-a-Caths), maintaining strict aseptic technique.
Patient & Family Advocacy: Provide compassionate education, symptom-management guidance, and emotional support to patients and their families navigating their cancer journey.
What You Bring to the Team
Professional Standing: Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Oncology Experience: Minimum 1224 months of recent experience working within an acute oncology, haematology, or outpatient infusion setting.
Specialized Competency: Current competency or certification in Antineoplastic Drug Administration (chemotherapy competent) is highly desirable (or a strong willingness to attain it).
Interpersonal Excellence: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to build deep rapport, empathy, and trust with patients undergoing long-term treatments.
