Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
- Utilise clinical expertise to provide advice, care, and support to patients and their families.
- Respond and adjust easily to changing clinical priorities and patient flows.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and professional patient journeys.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document therapeutic effects of treatments.
Key Skills Required:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Minimum of two years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department.
- Proven competence in triage and resuscitation roles.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Post-graduate qualification in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing is highly desirable.
