Who we're looking for
We’re seeking Registered Midwives with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration and recent experience in maternity services. You’ll be confident supporting women across the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal journey, and comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in birth suite, postnatal ward, special care nursery, or continuity-of-care models is highly valued. If you’re adaptable, compassionate, and committed to evidence-based, woman-led care, we’d love to hear from you.
Types of roles available
Verus People supports midwifery services across a broad range of care settings, including:
- Birth Suite – labour, birth, and immediate postnatal care
- Antenatal & Postnatal Wards – inpatient maternity support
- Continuity of Care Models – caseload and team-based care
- Special Care Nursery – support for newborns requiring additional monitoring
- Regional & Rural Maternity Services – vital care in community-based settings

Is recent experience required?
