Cooma | Queanbeyan | South East Regional Hospital
Current opportunities include both Maternity Ward and Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) positions.
About the Roles:
We're looking for experienced Registered Midwives who are confident working across maternity services within regional healthcare environments.
Depending on the position, opportunities include working across antenatal, postnatal and labour ward, as well as MGP positions.
Some positions include on-call requirements, so we're looking for confident and experienced midwives who can work autonomously and as part of the wider maternity team.
To be considered, you must have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Minimum 2 years' recent midwifery experience
- Recent antenatal experience
- Recent postnatal experience
- Recent labour ward experience
- Competency in cannulation and venepuncture for applicable positions
- Experience working on-call for applicable positions
- MGP experience for applicable positions
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
