We are seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses interested in rural MPS contracts across Northern NSW.
Locations include:
Bonalbo | Kyogle | Nimbin | Urbenville
These opportunities are ideal for experienced ED nurses who enjoy rural nursing and are confident working with a high level of autonomy in smaller healthcare facilities.
About the Roles:
Working within a rural Multi-Purpose Service requires a broad and confident clinical skill set. We're looking for experienced nurses who are comfortable assessing and triaging emergency presentations, responding to clinical deterioration and working autonomously within a small rural facility.
MPS facilities provide a combination of healthcare services, so nurses should be comfortable working within a diverse rural clinical environment.
To be considered, you must have:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years' recent Emergency Department experience
- Current Australian Triage Certificate
- Current ALS certification
- Strong emergency assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Confidence managing emergency presentations autonomously
- Experience and confidence working in charge
- Previous rural or MPS experience highly regarded
- Confidence working within a small rural healthcare environment
