Verus People is currently partnering with a premier private hospital in Central New South Wales to appoint a dedicated Registered Nurse to a permanent Scrub Scout position. We are seeking a clinician who is passionate about perioperative excellence and delivering high-quality patient outcomes within a modern theatre environment. This role offers the stability of a permanent contract while providing a positive work-life balance through a standard weekday roster.
The successful candidate will join a supportive, multi-disciplinary team focused on surgical precision and safety. Your daily responsibilities will involve the preparation of the sterile field, assisting the surgical team during procedures, and ensuring all equipment and consumables are accounted for in alignment with best-practice standards. This facility is known for its collaborative culture and strong leadership, offering an environment where staff are encouraged to grow through ongoing professional development and training.
To be considered for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. While previous experience in a Scrub Scout role is highly desirable, we value clinicians with strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. A commitment to customer service and continuous quality improvement is essential for success in this professional environment.
In return for your expertise, our client offers an industry-leading remuneration package, including the highest nursing wages in the state. Additional benefits include relocation assistance, novated leasing, and paid parental leave. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a tree change or a career step-up in a facility that truly values its nursing workforce.
If you are a motivated nurse ready for a new challenge in a thriving regional hub, please reach out for a confidential discussion. Applications should include an updated CV. You can contact Tony Skvarc at tony.skvarc@veruspeople.com or call 0482612155.
