We have a range of exciting nursing opportunities across Central Queensland, with vacancies available in multiple hospitals and Multipurpose Health Services (MPHS).
Contracts are commencing throughout November and December 2026, with opportunities extending into early 2027.
REGISTERED NURSES (RN)
Biloela Hospital Emergency / Rural Nursing
Contract: 21 December 2026 31 January 2027
ED experience accepted. ALS, PALS and Triage are not essential.
Blackwater MPHS Multiple Vacancies
Contract: November / December 2026 31 January 2027
Emergency, Medical, Aged Care and Rural Nursing experience required.
Rockhampton Hospital Emergency Department
Contract: 21 December 2026 3 January 2027
ALS, PALS, Triage, Resuscitation and IV Cannulation required.
Theodore MPHS Rural Nursing
Contract: 29 December 2026 17 January 2027
Limited ED experience accepted. Subject to confirmation.
Woorabinda MPHS Rural Nursing
Contract: 9 November 2026 22 November 2026
Emergency, Medical and Rural Nursing experience required.
REGISTERED MIDWIVES (RM) / DUAL MIDWIVES
Gladstone Hospital Maternity / Neonatal Nursery
Contract: Multiple start dates from 9 November 14 December 2026
Contracts available through to 6 January 2027.
Maternity, Birth Suite and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation experience required.
Rockhampton Hospital Maternity
Contract: Multiple start dates from 19 November 21 December 2026
Contracts available through to 28 February 2027.
Antenatal, Postnatal, Birth Suite, IV Cannulation and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation experience required.
ENROLLED NURSES (EN)
Baralaba MPHS Rural Nursing / Aged Care
Contract: 9 November 2026 17 January 2027
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS
- Aged Care Check Police Check required for Blackwater and Theodore.
- Evidence of Hepatitis A and Aged Care Check Police Check required for Woorabinda.
